|Comedian Rich Ceisler has been headlining comedy showcases around the country for over seven years.|
Originally from Long Islnad, New York, Rich studied drama and theatre production at SUNY-Fredonia, and received his Master, of Fine Arts from Virginia Tech.
Since moving to Boston in 1981, he has become one of the most sought-after comics in New England, performing at nightclubs, colleges and corporations along the East Coast, and headlining his own show at The Comedy Connection in Boston every Sunday night.
Recently, Rich made his mark, on a National level, by placing third in the prestigious San Francisco International Laff-Off. As a result, he has been asked to appear on David Brenner's new show "Nightlife," and is currently putting the finishing touches on scripts for "The Cosby Show," and "Cheers."
In addition to his long list of credits as a stand-up performer, Rich is also an accomplished author and director, having written and staged two musical comedies, as well as having appeared as The Burger King on national television for over two years.
